How Strong is Your Fall Game?

Don’t you just love the fall? Crisp morning air, crinkly leaves beneath your feet, and layered outfits—the best! Some of us are dealing with a new back-to-school normal this year, so I thought it’d be a perfect time to take our minds off the stress and have some good old fall fun!

Let’s play a fall game. Give yourself a point for every fall thing you've done so far!

  1. Apple picking
  2. Pumpkin picking
  3. Pumpkin spice latte or coffee
  4. Lit a candle
  5. Wore a cozy sweater (give yourself a bonus point if an IME tee was your base layer!)
  6. Carved or decorated a pumpkin
  7. Drank a pumpkin flavored beer, cocktail, or mocktail
  8. Made pumpkin overnight oats
  9. Worked out outside (give yourself a bonus point if you wore IME)
  10. Wore a scarf
  11. Baked a pie
  12. Ogled leaves
  13. Wore plaid
  14. Drank apple cider
  15. Devoured an apple cider donut—or two or three (bonus point if still hot!)
  16. Ate soup
  17. Lit a fire
  18. Drank hot chocolate (bonus point for marshmallows and/or whipped cream!)
  19. Jumped in a pile of leaves
  20. Wore a jacket
  21. Dusted cinnamon on your coffee

(0-5 points) Needs improvement. It’s still September, so we’re going to let it slide—especially this year! Grab yourself a pen and jot down some ideas for your fall bucket list!

(6-10 points) Could be fall-ier. You’ve done some of the basics. Now it’s time to have even more fall fun! Want a challenge? Try to score 5 more points in the next week!

(11-15 points) Fall game: strong. You’re taking advantage of all the wonderful things fall has to offer, but you haven’t gone overboard. Keeping it real, enjoying the season, we fall-y approve (get it?). Our challenge for your fall game level is to see how many of these you can do in one day!

(16 points and above) Autumn warrior. You have officially slayed autumn. You don’t take fall for granted. You believe in seizing the day every day from September to November. Keep on falling for fall. We are here for it.
